Where your only limitation...
IS YOUR IMAGINATION!
LIBBY GARDNER CONCERT HALL - UNIVERSITY OF UTAH
The Libby Gardner Concert Hall is a 1,000 seat performing arts
hall delicately furbished with acoustical products created to
enhance the audiences' experience. The hall's ceiling consists of one
and a half inch thick GRG (Glass-Reinforced Gypsum) panels
and one inch thick GRG drop walls.
The lower elevations are made up of fine crafted wood panels. The steps and angles in the GRG panels are designed to roll the sound down the stage and project it out to the seating area, thus during live performances, filling the room with the defined sounds of the performers and their music.
In order to meet requirements and desired effects for each specific musical performance, the sidewalls can be raised and lowered to reveal the acoustical panels.
